Phil Toms A great combination of orchestral music, electronics and multi-tracked choir for one the best and most important early films of the 20th Century. Check out the final track "The Mediator" for an epic ending. Favorite track: The Tower Of Babel.

about

Originally composed in February of 2014, this musical tribute to Fritz Lang's 1927 masterpiece "Metropolis" features a unique blend of orchestral & electronic sounds and has been completely remixed and remastered to bring you the highest possible quality.

The first 11 tracks of this album were written to an abridged cut of the film, in the style of a traditional score. ( viewable here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYdyE5WPcU4 )

This album also features never-before-heard cues that have been remixed to create a complete sonic experience.
